Terms of use

  • TheorySwipe is provided free by [YOUR NAME OR BUSINESS NAME] to help you learn for the UK car theory test.
  • We work hard to keep the content accurate and up to date, but it is a study aid. Always follow the current Highway Code and the law. Passing in the app does not guarantee passing the real test.
  • You may use the app for your own learning. Please don't copy, resell or republish the app's questions, artwork or code.
  • Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Independence

TheorySwipe is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) or GOV.UK. Our practice questions are written for TheorySwipe and are not the official DVSA revision questions. Book your theory test only at gov.uk/book-theory-test.

Licences and credits

  • The Highway Code: contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
  • Traffic signs: Department for Transport TSRGD 2016 sign drawings, Crown copyright, reproduced under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
  • Road photographs: from Wikimedia Commons (mostly the Geograph project) under Creative Commons licences (CC BY-SA, CC BY, CC0) or in the public domain, plus photos by Pranoti U. Each photo's author and licence is shown under the photo and in the Photo credits list on the app's Signs page.
  • Fonts: Gabarito and Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, both under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1.
  • Trademarks: Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC.
